            |  Emerald Isle Stud is nestled in the beautiful hills of Alverstone in Kwa-zulu Natal. We aim to produce well-bred,quality,sensible and athletic individuals that are capable of competing in the highest levels of equestrian sport. Although the focus of the stud has been mainly show-jumping we have bred some incredibly talented dressage horses aswell. Some of these flashy movers include Sandy Bay, Diamond Duke, Sinatra, Sirius and Supernatural. Sandor has produced outstanding showjumpers and was the only stallion at the time competing in the country with his own progeny in the same class. These include So Be It (Int. A-Grade), Synergy (National A-Grade), Sacramento (B-Grade), Shamwari (B-Grade), Special Edition (C-Grade), San Alarco (Medium A Grade), Shocking Affair (C-Grade) to name but a few. We are a small stud thus allowing each and every horse the individual attention it needs to mature as a well rounded and happy horse. All our stallions are registered with the SAWHS and are in the process of currently being tested for CEM (contagious equine metritis) We have a couple really special unbacked youngsters for sale as well as two backed and going horses too from fantastic bloodlines such as San Alarco and Always One R from the Branic Stud. For the first time next year we will be open to the public for breeding with selected mares only.
